Cafe Bandit in SS2 holds a 4.6 rating across 1456 Google reviews. Visitors like the cozy space, coffee, and desserts. Some find it noisy, and one 1-star review faulted the sourdough and avocado.
Diners mostly praise the crispy, hot pizza and the relaxed setting for friends or family. The 4.7 average from 643 Google reviews backs this up. One 1-star review cites a closed kitchen at 11pm and slipping pizza quality.
Polo buns are the draw here: reviewers rave about their soft interior and crisp exterior, especially versions filled with taro or luncheon meat. The space stays clean, staff are quick to adjust things (air conditioning, order corrections), and the brunch menu spans rice dishes, noodles, and egg tarts at moderate prices that most find fair. Beyond the buns, results are uneven. Pork chop mains and soups come thin or watery; taro fillings sometimes feel heavy, and experimental items don't always connect. The milk tea is strong, the homemade salted lime drink hits, and the space fills steadily with a loyal crowd, especially online orders.
Kafe Wake Me Up in SS 2 is a family-run cafe rated 4.2 across 244 Google reviews. Diners praise the homemade cakes, warm service and hearty breakfasts. Some dishes only appear on weekends, and a few reviewers find the coffee or prices lacking.
