Diners tend to praise the hash browns, sausage, and cozy look of the room. Many say the food is worth the cost. Others find prices high and service slow, and some dishes sell out before noon. The menu is small and built around breakfast plates, with crumpets, pancakes, and a custom English breakfast. Staff walk guests through the options and cook each plate to order, which means waits. The room upstairs is hard to find, and the shared tables suit groups.

Doux Doux draws loyal fans for its signature canelés and French pastry lineup in a cosy, decorated space. Coffee quality swings wildly, and loud music makes it impractical for working or meeting. Pricing sits at the premium end, though some staff lapses and hygiene concerns have rattled recent visitors.
